I've always wanted to go eat here, even when it was WolfGang Puck, but I never got the chance. We finally decided to go and try it out. You're greeted in front of the elevator down low with a complimentary tequila ranch water. Not my cup of tea for alcohol, but drank it anyways. It is a more higher end fancy place, so they do require you to dress up a bit. Our waiter staff was really nice and checked on us more than I can think. The food came out extremely fast. Was kind of surprised. There wasn't many people there when we first initially got there, but by the time we left it was shockingly pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. Tuesday is apparently sushi night, so we filled up on sushi for appetizers. The sushi was very good! There's wasn't one thing about the food that I didn't like. It was all very good! The only thing I will say to stay away from, is the sauces for the steaks. Great cuts of steaks don't need sauces, especially if they are cooked well. These steaks don't need sauces, so don't waste your money. My only complaint about this place, is that the restaurant doesn't spin anymore. That was a huge bummer when they announced it. It use to spin when Wolfgang was there, but when Crown Block took over, they stopped it. The owners said they stopped spinning the restaurant so people would go spend more time at the bar because it faces the city. I'm sure there's a little science behind it, but I couldn't disagree more with this. When I was there, I only saw one person sitting at the bar while we ate (hence my picture of the bar). They should really bring back the spinning of the restaurant because being able to sit up there for a full hour and see all of Dallas is pretty cool. Instead we constantly got to look at I30/I35 and south Dallas.

The ambiance was just beautiful, the view overlooking the city was so nice while eating dinner. Our server Edgar was very informative and attentive. He helped us in picking the very best and knew the menu very well. Everything was really good and the presentation was just beautiful! The highlights from our meal definitely were the Tempura Rock Shrimp, Jalapeño Creamed Corn, and High Society cake. I would highly recommend it, especially if celebrating an event!

This dining is an experience. We were well taken care off by our waiter, the views were amazing, and the food was great. It is expensive here, but it is for a special occasion and you pay for quality. We got complimentary ranch water with casamigos when arriving. You also have to ask for the free bread but it's so fluffy and cheesy- it's a must! We got 2 sunset sours ($15) and a dirty martini ($20). The sunset sour was super tart and subtle- great drink! The pork chops ($39) were huge and well seasoned. I got mine rare and they did it perfectly. Definitely best bang for your buck. We got a flight of sides ($33) and it comes with 3 options. We got the fries, onion rings, and broccolini. The fries were huge and you can actually taste the potatoes. Onion rings were ok (I'd swap it) and the broccoli was super smoky if you're into that. I think if the side options were better I'd give this 5 stars versus the 4. We got free cookies and cake pops for our friends birthday- i recommend this place for a special celebration in Dallas!

This place is gorgeous. I'm so sad I visited on a day with low visibility but I enjoyed. Now this place is pricey. I spent almost $200 by myself but I loved every minute and morsel. It wasn't busy. Service was great. Not sure if that played a role but I enjoyed my time. The food was so good! If I come back to Dallas I will definitely be coming here. The sticky fingers cake is delicious

This is an EXPERIENCE. The Crown Block is an amazing restaurant from top to bottom. It is expensive, but you are getting amazing cocktails, food, and WONDERFUL service! This is the place you take someone to celebrate anything on a special occasion! I know there are mixed reviews on this restaurant, but I can say you should at least try this yourself and give it a chance! We were super happy with this meal and now I'm booking it for my birthday dinner! There is a dress code so please go to their website for that! I loved the ambiance of this place and they had beautifully set tables and gorgeous couch chairs! We started off with the table bread, which came with a pimento cheese dip, and a different type of flavored butter. The bread was super soft and tasty. My sister order the mac & cheese waffles, which is an interesting concept. You get waffles that are pressed with mac & cheese noodles and then the cheese sauce is on the side where you can pour over or dip it into. I had the 14 ounce bone-in filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection!!!!! The chutney sauce that came on the side was excellent! My sister had the flat iron steak with shrimp scampi on top and she loved it! We also ordered sushi... it was the shrimp roll and surprisingly it was very good in the whole table had to take a bite out of it! The cocktails were amazing. We ordered the crown BlockBerry cocktail, and it was a great balance of sweet and berry, recommend ordering that first! Now the dessert. What an experience! We ordered the dessert storm for my sister's birthday, and it was fantastic! It had a lot of different types of desserts, where the whole table can take a little bite of everything! I recommend this, if you are in a large group, and you don't know what desserts to get! My mother also ordered the very berry sorbet and wow! This I actually felt like I was eating a whole bowl of berries! The flavor was so pure and had a tart/sweet combo!

Love this spot for a cocktail! Hadn't been in years! Best views of Dallas! This is a steak and seafood spot with fantastic panoramic views of the city of Dallas! It's be Elizabeth Blau's and she's impressive. She's responsible for the Bellagio, Wynn and The RainbowRoom in Rockefeller Center! I'm sure the dining experience will match the high standards set by Blau. Can't wait to go back! Oh... I got the smoked old fashioned on a big ice cube. I drank two. Oooooopppppss!
